Two Arrested for Street Racing, Car Crashes into San Jose Home

Sgt. Russell Carr tells City News Service that Hall lost control of his Porsche and drove into a dirt shoulder at around 7:15 p.m. Monday in West Hills. The car had to be towed. Carr says it’s unclear why Hall lost control of the car but police have ruled out driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Longmeadow car accident closes Shaker Road


Neighbor David Beck said racing “happens all the time” near his home, and that the sound of the accident was so loud “it was if a dumpster were dropped from a three-story building. That’s how loud it was.” The San Jose Fire Department was on the scene checking for structural instability. Photos that firefighters tweeted from the scene showed one car rear-ending a beige home directly under a string of Christmas lights. Police said no one was injured inside the house, but one person inside one of the cars had a moderate injury. A board-up crew was called to the house, which was heavily damaged. Neither driver has been identified.

Los Angeles Police confirmed that they were investigating a solo-vehicle accident involving the 57-year-old entertainer. The Celebrity Apprentice winner was not injured and he was not arrested. The accident, in which the Coming to America star ran his vehicle off the road, was reported around 7:15 p.m. near West Hills Hospital in the West San Fernando Valley. No other motorists were involved.

The 57-year-old late night show host emerged unharmed after he lost control of his brand new Porsche and drove off a Los Angeles road Monday night. A police spokesman told City News Service that Hall drove onto a dirt shoulder in West Hils around 7:15 p.m., Monday in West Hills. Hall, whose show airs on WPIX in New York City, passed a field sobriety test at the scene and cops ruled out drugs or alcohol as the cause of the accident, TMZ reported. Car crashes into power pole on SR 16 in St. Johns County

(WWLP) – An Enfield, Connecticut driver is being charged with operating under the influence after a serious crash in Longmeadow Tuesday morning. Longmeadow Police Lt. Gary Fontaine told 22News two cars were traveling north on Shaker Road around 10:00 Tuesday morning when one vehicle rear-ended the other in front of the Longmeadow Country Club. The front vehicle, carrying a family from Longmeadow, pulled over. Two children in that car went to Baystate Medical Center for evaluation. The second car, carrying two people from Enfield, hit a guardrail and flipped over on the side of the road. The two occupants in that vehicle were removed with assistance of the Longmeadow Fire Department and went to Baystate Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the second car is being charged with operating under the influence, marked lane violations, operating to endanger and speed greater than reasonable. Police have not released the identity of the driver or anyone else involved in the accident. 173672389

Car crashes into power pole on SR 16 in St. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — More than 400 people are without power after a car crashed into a power pole in St. Johns County. The accident happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday on SR 16 just off Interstate 95. Investigators with St. Johns County Fire and Rescue tell Action News one person was injured in the accident. Crews with Florida Power and Light are on the scene working to restore power in the area. According to the FPL website power is expected to be fully restored by 7:15 a.m.
