What Happens After a Car Accident
Thirty-year-old Crystal Suniga was driving up to three times the posted speed limit on the street where the fatal accident occurred, police said. Her sons 14-year-old Angel Reyes and 10-year-old Ricardo Hernandez were killed in the crash, according to reporter Stephanie Lucero. “The car came to rest on the left side, on the passenger side, and they were, unfortunately, they were pinned under the car,” Irving Police Department spokesman James McLellan said. The mother has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter, two counts of injury to a child and one count of intoxication assault, Lucero reports. Suniga’s 16-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter received injuries that were not life threatening. People who live nearby heard a loud car crash. “We just approached the car and the little girl was screaming that she was looking for the other three brothers that were in the car,” Adan Osuna said. 2014 CBS Interactive Inc. Fatal car accident results in petition
This is where you should hire an experienced attorney to take over the process of your case. You need to keep in mind that all attorneys are not the same, and you will need an attorney that deals with car accident cases. This is different with general attorneys, you need experience with insurance companies, claims, and all the information required with filing a claim. This is a very critical case, if the proper steps were not taken, it could lead up to you leaving out some information that is important to your case. If you are injured, the first step you need to take is to seek medical attention. Even if you feel fine, there are other injuries such as whiplash that you need to take care of. You need to seek medical attention as soon as you can after the accident has happened. This is important thing to have when it comes to car accidents, without the insurance, this could lead to a lot of other damages. If the other party does not have any car insurance, they usually cannot afford the high amount of the damages. This is to help you win the case that you deserve, and that is what an experienced lawyer will do for you.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety published a study last year that tested several underride guards from different manufacturers. In the test, most underride guards could withstand a full-on collision with a vehicle traveling at 35 mph. However, if 30 percent of the vehicle hit the guard, most underride guards could not stop the vehicle. The study also points out that standards for underride guards in Canada are tougher than those in the United States, though many manufacturers are now making guards that meet Canadas standards anyway. The best underride guard is the one that never has to be used, McNally said. We work on educating motorists on safe following distances, about proper speeds, about being aware on how to operate in and round large trucks, he said. Frankly, once youve hit the underride guard, something has already gone wrong, so we should work on accident avoidance. Since the online petition began a few weeks ago, the response has been greater than the family had expected, Susanna said. The petition had more than 10,000 signatures as of Tuesday. My initial estimate for the maximum number of signatures we would get was about 500, Susanna said. But now were almost at 10,000. So I would say were doing pretty good right now. Most of the response to the petition has been positive from commenters online, Marianne said.

Car accident closes Water Street in Centreville
The 24-year-old, who crashed head-on into a truck after his blood sugar level dropped on his way to training in September 2012, was left fighting for his life for about two weeks. On Wednesday he was back at Hoffenheim to spend some time with team mates and club officials. “I was very happy to be here again,” Vukcevic said before snapping a picture with the team. “It has not changed much. I saw some familiar and some new faces,” said the former Germany Under-21 player, who had spent nearly two months in a coma. He said he was still in the middle of his rehabilitation and did not give any clues about his future. “I am doing well. The rehabilitation takes a lot of time and effort and sometimes it is really hard,” said Vukcevic, whose accident shocked German fans.
